Foundry Youth Ambassadors

During Canada Mental Health Week, the Abbotsford School District is proud to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of our Foundry Ambassadors, a group of dedicated high school students who are helping break down the stigma around mental health through peer-led connection and support. In partnership with Foundry Abbotsford, these ambassadors are trained to offer compassionate, relatable support to their classmates, promoting wellness and encouraging open conversations around mental health.

This unique collaboration reflects the power of community in supporting youth well-being. Through school-based outreach, workshops, and one-on-one peer support, the Foundry Ambassadors are creating safe spaces for our Abbotsford School District high school students to feel seen, heard, and supported. Their work not only strengthens mental health literacy among teens, but also fosters a culture of care, empathy, and resilience in our schools...one conversation at a time.
