Abbotsford Students Send Heartfelt Letters to Canadian Soldiers for Remembrance Day

In the spirit of Remembrance Day, students at Mt. Lehman Elementary wrote and decorated over 100 handwritten letters to Canadian soldiers serving overseas.

During a special school presentation on November 7, students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 sang O Canada, stood for The Last Post, and proudly shared their cards with Sgt. David Scrivens of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Each card featured poppy-themed art and a personal message of gratitude. The letters will be sent to Canadian troops currently stationed in Latvia, offering encouragement and thanks from the Abbotsford community.
